Yoga can be more than a lifestyle choice: It can also be a evidence-based lifestyle medicine that promotes brain health, mental health and overall well-being. Linda Lang, a certified yoga therapist and a clinical instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, shares how yoga can both prevent illness and injury and also help in coping with chronic issues including arthritis, pain management, cardiovascular disease, and even depression and anxiety. She is joined by yoga therapists Jane Stelboum, Lynne Valdes, Samantha Parker, and Marsha Banks-Harold, whose work spans all areas of health and wellness.
