Harvard and Columbia trained scientist P.K. Newby, ScD, MPH, MS, will discuss some of the topics explored in her latest book "Food & Nutrition: What Everyone Needs to Know." An educator, author, and entrepreneur, Dr. Newby has decades of experience researching diet-related diseases; studying how people make food choices and their impact on the environment; and teaching and consulting about why what we eat matters, from farm to fork. A meet-and-greet with Dr. Newby will follow the lecture.
