Exploring the opportunities and possibilities for acupuncture in the American healthcare system
The Inaugural American Society of Acupuncturists Conference will focus on sessions that highlight the licensed acupunturists' current involvement in health care. This includes current barriers that inhibit patients ability to access care provided by licensed acupuncturists, strateties to remove barriers, business management, research, and training for an advocacy day on Capitol Hill. On Monday, June 3, the society plans to hold a congressional breifing, acupuncture demonstration, and health fair on Capitol Hill. Pleas join us for these exciting events! The health fair will offer an opportunity to educate legislators, congressional staff, and the public about all the treatment tools available to licensed acupunturists.
